| The hotel complex of three buildings lies 800 metres from the town centre and the thermal lake, in the middle of a wonderful, neat nature reserved 6,5 hectare large park. Hévíz is a spa resort of international fame that developed around Europe's largest hot water lake. The temperature of the lake is 26-28 oC in the winter, so it is possible to bathe in the open air bath through the whole year. The water comp-letely changes every 28 hours. Medical mud covers the entire inside of the lake. The lake -situated 7 km from Balaton- and its surroundings were pronounced a nature conservation area. From Sopron via Sárvár-Sümeg 130 km, from Graz via Körmend - Zalaegerszeg 170 km, from Budapest in ca. 3 hours you can reach the town by car on the main road M7 via Siófok - Fonyód and Keszthely. |
